8.13 Habit Of Discipline

One of the great enemies of success is fatigue. Fatigue keeps us from so much. We, as a people, are overtired and overworked. We are perpetually exhausted and this tiredness is keeping us from our purpose.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Galatians 6:9

So how do we overcome the obstacle of fatigue?

As someone who has battled chronic pain I have learned that the way to defeat the enemy of fatigue is discipline. In our discipline of following God’s word and spending time with him worshiping him finding peace in him this creates a cycle of replenishment. Where we are depleted, being consistent with our worship of God fills and replenishes us.

This habit of discipline becomes easier and easier the more that you do it. Hear me, I am not saying that it is easy, or that it won’t be hard. But I will ensure you that the more that you do it the easier that it becomes.

When we don’t fuel up with the Lord we fuel ourselves with things of the world. The world depletes us and breaks us down.

So let’s change the cycle. Let’s create a cycle of fueling and refueling from God.

We must be persistent in our God Dream. Persistent, disciplined and obedient.

Don’t stop.
